SNAP Print Affair 2013: Bright Lights
SNAP (the Society of Northern Alberta Print-Artists), one of Edmonton’s most exciting artist-run, non-profit, charitable arts organizations will be hosting our Annual Fundraiser: Print Affair on November 23rd, 2013. The Christmas Print Affair has been an annual fundraising success for SNAP for over ten years and this year’s event promises not to disappoint. Once again we are pleased to host an evening of holiday cheer with “Bright Lights”, and exceptional art work for sale and auction!
To celebrate and embrace our community of members, volunteers, artists and art patrons, we will be throwing a fun and elegant evening featuring great music, wonderful food, exquisite drinks – and of course, high caliber contemporary print art. This event focuses on the sale of contemporary print works at all price ranges and we encourage the Edmonton community to support local arts & culture by purchasing art as gifts this holiday season.
This year, our special fundraising event will take place in both the SNAP Gallery and SNAP Printshop where we are showcasing a broad range of professional local artists. In our studio & printshop on Jasper Ave, we are featuring a members’ show and sale, live photo booth and interactive printmaking, along with music from local DJ’s including Jessie Beier. In SNAP Gallery, a silent auction of specially selected artists will be accompanied with craft cocktails and live music sets from Regan Luth and Erin Fought
We will continue our members Show & Sale in the Main gallery from November 28th to December 21st. Gallery Hours are: Tuesday & Wednesday,12-6pm; Thursday, 12-7pm and Friday & Saturday from 12-5pm.
All proceeds from this important event support and sustain our exhibitions and education programming. Your support is a valuable part of our continued success as an organization.
